NTUOIA[Activity] NTUISIS 2-day-trip to Nantou

E-mail Print PDF

Dear international students of NTU,

Hello, this is ISIS (International Student Info. Service club) inviting you to join our 2-day-trip to Nantou on March 10th & 11th.

On this journey, you’d experience the fascinating life of aboriginal tribes, fascinate the famous view of Sun Moon Lake, and enjoy a complete day in the magical Xitou forest, getting close to the earth mother.

Taiwan-Formosan Aboriginal Culture Village, first sight of the trip, is a scenic park that gathers 9 tribes in one park. They have all traditional buildings, living environments, and cultural artifacts built in the park. You can experience tribe lives and food, even join the aboriginal ceremonies and performances. Additionally, March is exactly the right season to catch the magnificent scene of a mount-full of fairly pink cherry blossoms.

Under the concept, NTU further provides a few general and liberal courses conducted in English that would be suitable for international students to learn more about Taiwan, to have discussion on global issue with local students, and to broaden academic interests.
