NTU Student involvement fair for clubs and association was held in Nov. 20th 2011 at Royal Palm Boulevard, NTU Main Campus. Vietnamese Student Association in National Taiwan University (NTUVSA) joined the fair. Thanks to the sponsors from Civil Engineering Department, and Student Activity, the event was well-prepared and successful. NTUVSA invited advisors, friends from NTU and other universities.

Preparation for the 83rd Anniversary of NTU was started at 8:00 AM and finished at 10:00 AM on November 20th 2011 while the fair was held from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM. NTUVSA’s boot is one of the best beautiful boots among 69 ones totally.

In order to promote the imagines of Vietnam, NTUVSA has a series of events during the festival: film programs, Bamboo dance performance, Halong Bay introduction, games…

1. Film programs:

Several film programs were broadcasted during the festival to NTU students, friends, and participation as: Vietnam – The Hidden Charm; Da Nang – Attractive Destination; Thua Thien Hue – World Culture Heritage, Potential and Development, Halong Bay…  The participants were very exciting with the films.

2. Fun games:

Fun games were designed to attract participants. A lot of people played with NTUVSA team include students, elder, children…They were very happy when getting presents

3.Vietnamese Bamboo dance performance

Vietnamese Bamboo dance performance is the most exciting event during the festival. This dance originates from the Northwest highlands of Vietnam, where it was performed to celebrate special events like Tet Holiday, National Day. Usually four to six people hold two sticks of bamboo each and clap in a 4/4 rhythm while another 8 dance in and out of the sticks

The performance was well-prepared and made all audiences cheerful and impressive. Audiences, students, international friend, and MC were invited to dance. Firstly, they worried about that they could not follow the rhythm. After NTUVSA had introduced how to dance, they could perform well, and were very interested in dancing. Not only performance at the stage, NTUVSA also performed this traditional dance at the boot area. We were very pleased and happy with Prof. Po-Han Chen attention during the fair

Thank you to Student Activity Center, audiences, Taiwanese and international friends, NTUVSA members... The event could not be successful without you.
